Dear Hylie,
I just read your update on your website, and thought I'd send you a
little note to wish you good luck. The people at Methusalabs do seem
very nice, and it is good to know that they will do all they can to help you.
I hope you get better very soon
Take care
Charlene.

Dear Hylie,
I know it must be tough for you, but you seem to be in good spirits.
There are many terrible things in this world, and you are too young to
have to face them alone. Know that there are many people out here who
will help you in anyway they can. You might say we were followers of
FOR Hylie. I tied a blue ribbon for you and put a digital ribbon on
my webpage: xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx Best of luck, and hope to hear from you soon.

Hylie -
I've read about your story online and I'm amazed at
what Methusalabs has been able to and how far you've
come! That's just awesome. I thought you'd like to
know that I put up my own Ribbon for Hylie right
outside. :)
Say, can I ask a really out-of-left-field question?
What's your middle name? I love your name, and I have
this thing about learning the middle names of people
so I can hear the flow of the whole thing all
together. Anyway, if that's too personal, I
understand. It's just one of those things I have to
ask...
I hope you continue on your path to health. :)

Sweet little Hylie,
It simply breaks my heart that you've had to go through so much
at such a young age. My dear husband Wilson, God rest his soul, had
emphysema for years so I know how hard it is for you. Those kind
souls at Methusalabs are a gift, dearie. They are simply performing
miracles! I've tied blue ribbons around my rose bushes and every
time I tend to my garden I'll be saying a little prayer for you
Hylie. Get well soon.

Hylie:
How are you feeling? I know what it's like to spend lots of time
in the hospital when you're sick. I had leukemia when I was 4 years
old. I spent alot of time in the hospital while the doctors took
care of me. I'm in remission now which means that I'm better. The
doctor says if I make it one more year without any signs of cancer
I'll be cured! So don't worry Hylie. You'll get better, just like
me! You should email me sometime and we can chat!

Dear Hylie,
Trust that God has you in His heart and that His guiding spirit
will help you through this. I will pray, as you should, that He will
use His power to cleanse your body of all illness. Amen.

Hylie,
The way you've taken this thing head on is real brave. I think
lots of people would just give up in a situation like yours instead
of trying to help other sick kids. Keep your head up and keep fighting.
It'll pay off in the long run. You're an inspiration to every one of
us. |
